Wow, it feels awkward writing a page about myself. I'll start by listing a few basic things about me. I'm 21 and although my "trade" is in computers, and I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and an A+ certified technician, I am also an independent musician and artist. I write about a wide range of subjects that peak my interest and I am a big snake enthusiast. I'm the proud owner of a Mole Kingsnake and Black Racer, both wild caught. I hold a brown belt in Isshinryu karate, but have been out of practice for a while and would like to continue my training soon. I would also like to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sometime.
I'm the type of person that will stop their car in the middle of the road to help a box turtle across so that they don't get hit by a car. If I find an insect in the house I try to release it without harming it, and I've always had a huge respect for all animals...but not in the peta way. I enjoy a good steak like anyone else.
I've written a lot of instrumentals for the guitar, and songs. You can find some of them floating around on YouTube, so far over 31,000+ people have watched them. Or you can check out my myspace page (/ryanriversmusic) which has recieved over 22,000 hits. I've written music for independent films and enjoy working in the NC independent film scene.
